Field Review

Rather than creating an overly large one-piece windscreen, Vesuv's solution is both simple and remarkably effective. The two-part construction allows the windscreen to provide the required height whilst still packing away neatly inside the pot.

One of the things we appreciate most is how naturally the windscreen integrates with the TOAKS 750 Pot. The ability to stow the individual sections around the internal wall of the pot creates a beautifully organised cooking system where every component has its place and very little space is wasted.

The ultra-thin titanium foil itself is impressively durable and withstands repeated assembly, packing and everyday handling remarkably well whilst maintaining its shape and effectiveness.

As with any ultra-thin titanium foil, it should be handled with sensible care, particularly around the cut edges. This is simply part of working with an exceptionally lightweight material and is a small trade-off for the excellent packability and dependable performance it provides.
